Application Developer / Designer - C# / VB.netWorking on site at our Lloyds of London insurance client, this is an opportunity for a Application Developer / Designer to join an organisation that has a great reputation within such a sought after industry. The role will be required to interact with stakeholders including Solution Architects, Business Analysts and business users to understand requirements and carry out design and development activities.Role responsibilities:

'€¢Working with analysts and architects to design and develop the required artefacts in compliance with the necessary design standards.'€¢Hands-on involvement to develop and modify application code where needed.'€¢Working closely with off-shore team in the development phase to implement system changes and enhancements.'€¢Lead the team by driving the delivery of complex functionality and troubleshooting complex technical issues on projects.'€¢Effectively documenting programs and coding changes by creating technical specifications as required.'€¢Adherance to SLA agreements.  

Skills required:

'€¢Strong experience and knowledge of development and design with VB.Net, C#, Microsoft SQL Server and SharePoint.'€¢Experience of working within the Lloyd's of London Insurance domain.'€¢Prior experience in working with enterprise applications including interaction with multiple sub-systems and application integration.'€¢Excellent communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate excellent problem solving skills.'€¢Demonstrable commitment to quality, service and problem management.
