Test Analyst

Harrogate

A technology led organisation are going through a period of strategic development and as such are looking to hire a Senior Test Analyst to be part of the development team.

As a Test Analyst you will be responsible for planning and owning the test strategies for all applications and solutions. The successful candidate will have an in depth understanding of the principles of software testing, familiarity with a wide range of test and test automation tools and commercial experience of putting them into practice.

Responsibilities

*Planning and preparing test activity

*Executing test activity

*Reporting on all test activity

*Functional and regression testing

*Monitoring test performance and producing statistical reports

*Improving quality of software products through the testing approach

Key skills

*Excellent understanding of software testing principles

*Experience leading and coordinating test planning

*Experience in application functional testing, including APIs

*Familiar with test automation tools
