About the GCDO Governance & Alignment TeamGlobal Chief Data Office is a new global function in PWC recognizing the data driven nature of the organization and enablement of new digital practices. The Governance & Alignment function within the GCDO is responsible for both establishing a community of Chief Data Officers and supporting the territories with readiness for the Digitising the Network programme, as well as maintaining the previously established BOS governance bodies whilst aligning future state governance to GCDO vision.

This role reports into the GCDO Data Governance & Alignment lead.

To support these initiatives, we are looking for someone to:Support the maintenance of BOS governance with minimal disruption to ‘do no harm’Support the definition and implementation GCDO governance visionOnboard stakeholders to the GCDO governance visionWe are looking for someone with a passion for data and data management who has strong project management and communications skills.Specific responsibilitiesManage, interact and drive actions for stakeholder groups across the GCDO Data Pillar teams, Data Domain Owners & SMEs (partners / directors), IT and GCDO teams and leaders to achieve goalsManage PwC data definition, quality and stewardship maturity by prioritising, initiating and managing stakeholder actions to deliver activitiesCreate, document, manage and monitor a wide range of Data Governance process, procedures and documentationManage Data Definitions and Standards Working Group, Data Domain Owner WG and monthly individual domain owner meetingsIndependently set and direct the activities of colleagues and stakeholdersManage and communicate status reports to programme leadership and various stakeholder audiencesOnboarding and training of stakeholders to their responsibilities in relation to data governanceSponsoring and selling of governance initiatives to audience and stakeholders with varying levels of data knowledge and expertisePerform data analysis across metadata and data quality to spur improvement and alignmentServe as governance practice SME for GCDO, guiding user questions/issues to the appropriate contact, and building and communicating collateral to educate and trainRaise awareness and adoption of enterprise standards and policies amongst domainsImprove organisational understanding of data flows across the BOS data ecosystem by working with technical and integration teams to document data flowsRequirementsMust have experience working with and interpreting business views of data into actionable data definitions, standards and policiesMust have experience interfacing with business leaders and data stewardship communities to understand their data responsibilities and supporting them to fulfill those responsibilitiesMust have experience developing communications collateral intended to onboard and mature the data organisationMust have experience manipulating, comparing and interpreting dataMust have experience supporting data quality issue remediation effortsMust be able to effectively document and communicate data challenges to business and technical organisations alikeExperience of implementing the full lifecycle of change - strategy through executionStrong team management skills demonstrated across a global, multi-cultural and lingual organization preferredStrong written and verbal communication skills requiredStrong business process analysis skills preferred Strong presence to work with senior leaders in the PwC Network
