My client are seeking a Communication & Information Systems Specialist who has knowledge/experience of auditing and regulatory control. You will work as part of the site assurance team in Central London providing IT & Communication Configuration Management for an MoD Facility.

Salary: £39,000 - 42,000 per annum

Roles to be undertaken:

*SCIDA Engineering Change Management activities for Communication & Information Systems (CIS) Configuration Management of CIS documentation set.

*Maintain system and facility overview diagrams through a structured audit program.

*To conduct audits and produce reports in support of the Assurance annual CIS audit programme and ad-hoc reporting tasks.

*Activities to be undertaken: Survey/audit facilities as required ascertaining accuracy of site documentation and baseline information.

*Technical review of designs and proposals, to support i.a.w. Assurance procedures, British Standards and JSP604, where applicable.

*Provide updates to maintain the drawing and baseline documentation databases.

*Provide information and input for monthly & annual reporting tasks and where necessary input and update data on the CAFM system.

*Provide Input to Co-ordinated Assurance Programme.

Key Skills:

*Sound knowledge of communication & IT systems and infrastructure.

*Knowledge of JSP604 and/or legislative (British Standards) and site-specific standards for installations, maintenance and inspections.

*Understanding of Quality Assurance to ISO 9001 or equivalent.

*The production of technical audit and inspection reports to specific formats.

*Provide attention to detail and the ability / confidence to question and validate data.

*Maintaining effective communications with all stakeholders.

*Maintain detailed records of all work activity updating CAFM and accounting systems.

Qualifications:

*ONC/HNC or equivalent in experience Information Technology Engineering discipline.

*CIDA IDA course is desirable.

*This position would ideally suit ex: RAF CIS/ICT Tech (TG4),RN WE/CIS or Royal Signals Tech/Telemec.

Experience:

*Configuration Management experience within an engineering and/or defence sector.

*IT & Communications infrastructure experience within large corporate organisations and/or defence sector.

*Report writing and presentation skills.

Security Clearance:

*Candidates will be required to undergo Developed Security Vetting.

Working Hours:

*Normal 37.5 hrs / week based on a 7.5 hr day. Semi-Flex System
