Real Time Recruitment Solutions https://www.rtrs.co.uk Are you an MEng / MSc graduate looking for a rewarding new role working for a business where your skills and contributions are valued?Reporting to the Head of Hardware and System Engineering, the successful candidate will be responsible for the design of mechanical solutions to be used in rugged environments and will be based in our office in Cambridge. The role will suit a junior engineer with a role or two professional positions held post-graduation.
The successful candidate will have the following qualities, essential for the role:
Master's degree in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or a related disciplineKnowledge of MCAD software, preferably SolidWorks. Collaboration with ECAD (e.g. OrCAD) is a plusDemonstrably high level of accuracy and attention to detailSound knowledge of materials, assembly technologies and machining methodsStrong ability to generate and communicate concepts in a clear and effective mannerAbilitytothriveinateamenvironment, building and sharing a common ideaSelf-motivated and proactive team player, staying up-to-date with manufacturing techniquesSatisfactory written and spoken English
