Great opportunity to join a growing software business, operating a flat hierarchy where you can really add value to core business processes and get noticed quickly.......Initially working alongside our client facing consultants you will increasingly take responsibility for the client engagement; gathering requirements, planning and then delivering appropriate solutions and reports.You will be expected to recommend, design and code efficient and effective solutions, keeping in mind both immediate and long-term requirements.
The successful candidate will need strong communication skills to liaise with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide regular feedback to the client.
Required skills
Hands on experience with advanced SQL constructs and developmentUnderstanding of relational and dimensional data modelling techniquesStrong SSAS skillsExperience with SSRS and SSIS
Desirable skills
Experience using SQL for data extraction and ETL across standard commercial databasesStrong mathematics skillsExperience in finance or capital marketsExperience with reporting packages such as Tableau or PowerBI
Personal skills
Excellent communication skillsGood organisation and time managementAbility to work under own initiative or as part of a team
Educational Requirements
-BSc/BEng in Computer Science or related subject, minimum 2.1 (or equivalent)
