You will get to head up a growing support team, leading and developing Junior Software Developers and helping them to deliver high-quality technical support.
You will be able to use your software engineering / diagnostic experience, as well as customer handling experience to improve the team but also develop and maintain relationships with key customers.
This is a truly hybrid role where you will be involved in many aspects such as the above but also the development and delivery of in-house analytics and reporting tools, the commission of new knowledge base articles, intelligence gathering, communication media development, release scheduling, support reviews and plenty more.

It is essential that you have experience with:
Communicating directly with customers and suppliers over the phone, via email and face to faceJava DevelopmentNetwork programming, including TCP/IP, WebSocketsDe-escalating, troubleshooting and resolving technical customer issues, to become part of their success storyExperience using and/or supporting high performance distributed softwareModern IP networks and common production deployment features, e.g. load-balancers, firewalls & proxiesLinux & WindowsIt would be nice if you also had experience with:
