Network Engineer /LAN/WAN/CCNP/CCNACisco / Network Security / ASA / Firepower / UC We are looking for a Network Engineer to join an enterprise organisation based in Manchester. The ideal candidate will have skills and experience in 3rd line support and project implementation (though we are open to candidates who only do support or project work as there is flexibility to allocate workload).You should have in depth knowledge of Cisco routing, switching and security, and ideally some exposure to cloud based telephony / unified communications. The ideal network engineer will possess CCNP level certifications, or a similar level of technical ability.The day to day responsibilities and complexities of the role will be dependent upon your current skills and experience, but is likely to include involvement in a range of cutting edge projects including a data centre migration, cloud based telephony roll out / implementation, WAN upgrade, and also further projects are likely to include LAN and Wifi technologies.Experience required (not all essential):

Proven experience of the following technologies within a Senior Network Engineer role:TCP-IPRouting and switching. Ideally to include enterprise kit such as Nexus switchesLAN and WANIP Telephony / VOIP / Unified Communications / Cloud based telephoneIT Security and Firewall technologiesAny experience of Cisco ASA, Cisco ISE/Firepower would be beneficialWireless networkingExperience of 3rd line Support and/ or Project implementation.Please note - this role in inside IR35 and will require you to operate via an Umbrella Company.
