Network Operations Manager

Our leading client requires a Network Operations Manager to join their team based in Barcelona. You will oversee IT activities, centralise and align services throughout the organisation.

Network Operations Manager duties will include, but not limited to:

*Managing the IT infrastructure/Network operations of the business

*Working with divisional heads and stakeholders to identify areas of improvement, and developing strategic plans to improve these areas

*Developing, monitoring/supervising and ensuring that the implementation of all network and security systems is carried out

*Developing and maintaining long term network operation strategies which will enhance and achieve the long term goals of the business

* Managing communications with customers, and preparing any required reports

*Supervising and delivering projects and modifying/tweaking systems to improve output

*Regularly reviewing, maintenance and upgrading of the companies continuity and/or recovery plan in the case of disaster

*Managing a team, and performing appraisals

As the Network Operations Manager you will be required to possess:

*Expert knowledge of core IT technologies (Cloud, LAN/WAN, Infrastructure etc.) as well as strategic improvement plans, removing weaknesses & risks, continuity and/or recovery plan

*Adaptable and proactive communication style with an holistic approach to problem solving and solution delivery internally and with customers.

*Expert knowledge of Cisco operating system and management software

*Microsoft and Virtualisation Technologies

*ITIL

*Organisational and time management skills. Prioritise duties in the face of multiple projects/tasks and meet/beat deadlines

*Strong analytical and creativity skills

*This role holds opportunity for promotion within the business and requires good leadership attributes and ability to work as part of a team

With a salary of on offer of up to £70,000 + 10% bonus, this is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of the business' Network/Infrastructure Operations.
