Role: Equipment EngineerLocation: CorkContract: An initial 12 month hourly rate contract Your role as an Equipment Engineer will be to provide maintenance support to operations, in ensuring operational goals and objectives are achieved for the plant. Responsibilities:Generate documentation for the specification, design, development and testing of new equipment and automated systems.Develop a detailed understanding of automation systems including PLC, HMI, vision, robotics and databases.Provide technical support and make informed decisions on hardware and architecture selection.Analyse, understand, fault - find complex automation equipment.Work cross functionally with the process development team to ensure products are delivered in a timely matter in accordance with standards. Requirements: Degree in Software / electrical / automation engineering3+ years experience within a similar environmentKnowledge of automation systems is advantageousExcellent problem solving skillsAbility to document own work clearly and preciselyExcellent communication skills This is an excellent opportunity to work within a global medical device company, alongside an innovative engineering team.
