A fast-growing IT Support company is looking for a Helpdesk Manager to join its team based in Stratford upon Avon. The company offers a bonus scheme, on-site parking, additional holiday with service plus a solid training programme is available to actively support your career development.As the Helpdesk Manager your responsibilities will include:
Leading the helpdesk and its technicians, being the first escalation point for IT technical issues.Prioritising workload in this friendly, but sometimes pressurised environment.Supporting customers through phone, email and remote support.Proactively monitoring client IT systems.Training and developing junior IT service desk team members.Maintaining technical documentation.Managing helpdesk stats and reporting to Directors.
Although you do not need to be qualified to MCP status or above, an understanding of Microsoft implementation strategies is important. We are keen on speaking to anyone with solid IT support experience with Microsoft knowledge including:
Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019.Windows 7, 8 and 10.Active Directory administration.Office 365 or equivalent cloud services.Microsoft Exchange.Microsoft Office suite.Mobile device configuration.Networking Principles (LAN, WAN, VPN).Server Management including TCP / IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP.Backup Solutions.Web design and some Mac/Linux support experience desirable, although not essential

In return the Helpdesk Manager will receive a salary of £25,000 - £30,000 pa, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays.
