The role has been created to provide day-to-day support for users, complete the implementation of the Office 365 environment, educate and support users of Office 365 and be the main point of contact and project manager as we transition to a new 3rd party IT supplier, also be part of a project team tasked with working with an external supplier to deliver a new website. Client DetailsMy client is a childrens charity based in West London who offer children the opportunity to develop, grow and experience child as it should be looking fior a IT Manager to join their IT team. DescriptionProvide the support line for Desktop PCs, Laptops, Office 365, Windows, Printers, Peripherals, Mobile Devices + basic Networking.Administer Starlight on-site and Office 365 systems. Configure equipment for new starters (laptop, desktop, phone, cabling), including new users' account set up and access. IT, hardware and Office 365 Induction for new starters Act as main contact point and manager relationship with 3rd Party IT support partner.Work closely with the Director of Finance and Operations and 3rd Party IT support partner to deliver the IT Strategy. Provide Office 365 training for all users.Logging IT incidents + tracking progress of fixes.Lead on the development and creation of relevant IT polices. Ensure clear communication with staff. Evaluate and monitor local back up routines.Maintain servers, computers, printers, and other software and hardware peripherals.Create IT documentation library for installed software/hardware. ProfileOffice 365. 2-3 years' experience in a desktop support role, and demonstrated knowledge of PC hardware and software, including Windows and Mac operating systems. Networking and Server Experience (Windows Server 2008 - 2016). Ubiquiti Wi-Fi configuration. Must be fully proficient in all Microsoft Office packages. Printers and VoIP Phone System. GDPR aware. Reliable, proactive and able to meet demanding deadlines. Proven aptitude to take ownership of an issue and see it through to a successful resolution.Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
