WHAT WILL THE LEAD SYSTEMS ENGINEER BE DOING?As a Lead Systems engineer, you will be forming a robust and major business area within one of our most heavily invested sites to date. Your abilities to integrate and design Complex Systems with a significant Software component will ultimately enable you to build your own team and grow with us!You'll be a forward thinking, talented leader who has ability to work with potential suppliers to give ideas, see benefits and track performancegrowth for their product. You'll also build on your current knowledge of Subsystems and their effects on behaviour and performance. Finally, we've no doubt at this stage that you'll be able to derive, develop and manage an appropriate set of sub-system requirements for ICD and Subsystems and last but not least, maintain currency on relevant STANAG/Mil-Std updates.This role requires a high calibre, proven individual with specific skills within design, integration and real system delivery. You'll operate at the core of out expanding team to train and develop junior staff. This challenging position will be rewarded accordingly. The successful candidate will ideally have a background in the defence sector, but more so ground based air defence, C4i systems and battlefield communications systems.
