Electro - Mechanical Assembler (Coil windings)£10.51 p/h+33 days' holiday + Healthcare+ PensionMonday - Friday (730-1615 Monday - Thursday & 730-12 Friday)Leeds Full-time, PermanentAre you a skilled Electro-Mechanical Fitter / Assembler with testing experience looking for your next immediately available permanent role with an industry leader in their field?This fantastic and rapidly growing company specialises in the design and manufacture of Power Generation and Electrical Equipment such as Generators, Alternators, Transformers and Motors for a range of blue chip companies.Due to containing structured growth and a very full order book they are now looking to recruit an Electro-Mechanical Fitter/Assembler to Plan cable runs, Terminations, insulation requirements, prepare LV & HV winding terminations (crimping/soldering/brazing) & Assemble components such as Link Boards, Tap Changers, CT.You will need to hit the ground running in this position so previous experience in a similar role is essential.The role:Prepare core & clamp assemblies and LV & HV coil windingsSchedule for erection of LV & HV coil windingsPrepare LV winding terminations and copper bar work utilising soldering or brazingPrepare HV winding terminations and copper wire utilising crimping or solderingAssemble ancillary components (Link Boards, Tap Changers, CT, etc.)The person: Apprentice trained in electrical mechanical engineeringExperience of insulation materials properties and techniquesElectrical test experienceExperience of reading, understanding and interpreting electrical I mechanical drawingsWelding, brazing, soldering experienceThis role is for an immediate start so please send an up-to-date CV ASAP to Sarah Hibberd.This vacancy is being advertised by Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd.
