Edge Deployment Engineer - 6 to 12-month Contract - Reading An Edge Deployment Engineer required to join an IT Services Corporation based in Reading on an initial 6 to 12-month contract. The role:

You will be responsible for supporting the client's customers in their adoption of Microsoft 365 including the Enterprise Mobility and Security (EMS), Office 365, and Windows 10.

You should have customer-focused experience and be able to support customers by email, web or phone with the deployment of Office 363 Proplus, Windows 10 and Microsoft Edge Browser

You should be able to handle challenging situations to achieve a positive outcome. Key Responsibilities:You should have:Extensive knowledge and experience of customer adoption for Microsoft's Edge Browser, Microsoft Endpoint Manager for configuration and deployment and other Microsoft Cloud technology.Detailed knowledge of Windows 10 desktop deployment, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Windows Update for Business (WufB), Desktop Analytics (DA), Microsoft Endpoint Manager and other Microsoft technology.An ability to help customers and partners improve their product experience by providing them with consultative advice.A willingness to support the training and readiness team to develop training materials and delivery.

Key Skills / Qualifications:3rd Line support and technical consulting experienceExpert level knowledge of Microsoft stack technology specifically application deployment in an enterprise environment with a willingness to learn.Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Cloud technology specially Office 365 EMS and Windows 10.Technical leadership and with customer and partner focus.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering or equivalent's experience.
