My Client is one of the UK leading retailers and is looking for a UX/UI Designer, with experience within the Retail and E commas sector.

My Client are working hard to make sure that we continue to play an important part of the community with our stores anchoring shopping locations up and down the country. They are building on strong foundations; they hold leading market positions in key categories of fashion and beauty, they are one of the top 10 digital retailers in the UK and more than one in four of the population shops with them. Having recently come under new ownership with access to additional funding, they are now focusing all there efforts on building a stronger customer proposition; committed to becoming more of a Destination, to integrating Digital and to doing things Differently.

What you will be doing…

*Be accountable for delivering great design & customer experience across our digital platforms.

*Apply a design thinking approach in creating design solutions that address both user & business needs.

*Have a sound understanding of and practice Lean UX / UI principles and be practically conversant with the UX stack.

*Provide quality output in terms of experience strategy, Usability & Interaction Design - from concept to handoff.

*Play an active part in contributing to the me

*Participate in executing UX activities with customers as needed.

*Working collaboratively in an agile team working through the project cycle from conceptual states through to live, ensuring the design vision is met and standards upheld.

What you will bring…

*At least 2 years' experience as a UX designer or similar design role or equivalent.

*Educated to degree level of equivalent

*Experience using Azure or similar to produce experience wireframes & low-fidelity prototypes

*Experience working within retail ecommerce would be advantageous

*Good level understanding of Photoshop

*Good level awareness of the latest HTML, CSS, JQuery & other front end design technologies
