(SC Cleared), SOC, Performance, Assurance and Risk (PAR), Crime, Government, National Crime, Home Office, SC Clearance, Security Cleared, DV, Develop Vetted, Warrington, London, Croydon, Intelligence Analysis,Our Central Government client are recruiting for Performance Officers at various levelsThe Performance function within Performance, Assurance and Risk (PAR) is responsible for the collation, interpretation, analysis and presentation of the client and other law enforcement agencies' data and information to support performance understanding. At the client level, the team produces performance reports for the Operations Committee, DG Committee, the Client Board, and to assist the SLT's engagement with other government departments. Nationally, the team is responsible for the delivery of quarterly reporting products to national tactical tasking meetings, and biannual reporting products to national strategic tasking meetings. In collaboration with the Home Office, it also leads the design and implementation of the National SOC Performance Framework.The Assurance and Risk function within PAR is responsible for designing and leading implementation of the CLIENT's three lines of defence Assurance Model to ensure effective mitigation of risk as a key part of the Agency's corporate governance. It provides strategic insight to CLIENT governance and works in partnership with the wider business to embed a culture of compliance and effective risk management.As an Officer/Senior Officer within the Client's Performance, Assurance and Risk (PAR) function, in collaboration with the Home Office, you will:Support design and implementation of robust assurance and risk or performance frameworks across the NCA, ensuring they are based upon best practice and meet the Agency's needs.Undertake the development and delivery of analytical products to support understanding and decision makingBe responsible for the integrity of data and the development of key datasets, working closely with stakeholders to extract, manipulate and present data in relation to performance and analysis.Supervise and carry out research, development, collation, co-ordination and dissemination of management information and reports.Develop reports, procedures and manage/monitor data systems across the business area.Supervise and carry out the quality, secure handling and dissemination of data/information, maintaining confidentiality, sensitivity and a duty of care in line with Agency policyKey to the role is the development and implementation of strategic plans, seeking continuous improvement of performance understanding in line with strategic objectives. You will lead projects, programmes and departmental campaigns, ensuring performance levels are monitored, measured and reported appropriately. You will oversee the quality, secure handling and dissemination of data and information, in line with all relevant legislation and policy.As a proven leader, you will provide effective leadership to a multi-functional team, building organisational capability, promoting high performance and adherence to corporate values.Key Skills / ExperienceProven experience in data analysis and development of insightful reporting (inc. findings and recommendations) to enable informed decision making at corporate governanceExcellent verbal, written and drafting skills (briefings/reports/presentations)Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance competing priorities/ pressures and working to tight deadlines.Experience of statistical analysisProven experience of enterprise assurance/risk/performance management in line with leading good practice
