Software Programmer Team Leader

Bristol

£28,000 - £30,000 + perm benefits

A leading organisation based UK wide is looking for a Software Programmer Team Leader to be based in their Bristol location to oversee and motivate a small team, to create and test software customisations & downloads for all types of display equipment. The Software Programmer Team Leader will also maintain software customisation records and archives alongside supervising members in a team, delegating work and ensuring deadlines are kept to, leading small team talks.

Responsibilities

*Create and test machine software and tariff screens for customer and new machine sales orders using a bespoke software.

*Complete software jobs and package up to send with a typed up delivery note.

*Maintain and update software records on a centralised database.

*Support the Process Manager, Area Managers and Field Engineers on all topics concerning machine software.

*Manage incoming emails from internal staff and external customers.

*Offer advice to customers inquiring about the technicality of how the software can work (emails and phone calls)

*Assist the Process Manager to write and keep up to date software customisation operating procedures.

*Assist in product functionality training, programming and testing.

*Produce bespoke tariff and welcome screens using photoshop etc.

*Actively contribute to improve the quality of both products and services by working in accordance with internal and external quality standards conforming to ISO 90010.

*Be an active member of the tariff team contributing ideas and possible solutions to any problems that have occurred.

*Assist when necessary to test and approve working procedures.
