If you can see yourself contributing to the world of Defence digital and technology, the next chapter of your career may be with us.  About the role Personnel in the Technical Coherence role of the Cyber Security function are responsible for assuring that Information Systems bought by Defence comply with appropriate policies and that risks are understood and quantified.  In this role, the Lead Technical Assurance Case Officer is responsible for:

Conducting technical risk assessments for assigned projects against published design guidance; applying technical knowledge to determine the related technical risks. Writing Technical Release Readiness Assessment reports to document findings, making recommendations on the release of the Information System based on the risks; ensuring that project teams follow any resultant assessment recommendations and risk mitigation actions. Engagement with Projects, Programmes and Stakeholders across Defence, providing advice and guidance throughout Information System development, acting as a conduit to gain access to other specialist advice and ensuring the timely achievement of Technical Assurance. Using technical knowledge and understanding of the business information requirements to help ‘shape' the solutions to achieve compliance. Providing advice to stakeholders to support Information System Governance Boards. Closing Date: 9th March 2020
