Experis are currently recruiting for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst / Developer to join our business. As the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst / Developer you'll be pivotal in developing a SQL environment utilising your experience, whilst being a senior member of the team; leading, mentoring and growing junior members.

Working in a team of 4, you will be key in enhancing the organisations reporting platforms whilst being tasked with developing and streamlining BI processes around ETL using whichever tool is best suited. You will also take ownership of our data - understanding how best to extract and interpret data - understanding where there are issues and understanding how to fix them. Skills

· Expert knowledge of Microsoft SQL, including use of SSMS and SSRS

· Logical and systematic approach to problem solving and system design

· The ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team

· Strong mathematical and numerical background

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

What you'll be doing….

1. Database Design & Management

· Create and maintain an ETL process for clients, using data from numerous sources

· Using transformed data to set up self-service reporting for end-users

· Ensure the most efficient processing methods and paths are followed

· Ensure thorough documentation and notation of all processing.

2. Analysis of the End to End recruitment process

· Interpret data to analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing performance reporting on all aspects of the recruitment process

· Measure performance against SLAs

· Design pipeline reports, weekly dashboards and monthly/ quarterly reviews.

· Deliver effective, clear & concise reporting, whilst constantly reviewing how we report to clients.

3. Continuous Improvement

· Continually review process to look for insights

· Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in data/SLAs to support the management in identifying efficiencies and performance issues and improvements

· Filter and clean data correcting issues where identified to ensure reporting accuracy

4. Stakeholder Management

· Regular liaison with programme management team to provide ad-hoc analysis as and when required

· To be a point of contact for reporting and information queries from clients, responding efficiently, proactively seeking resolutions and escalating and highlighting issues to management team early when require

What we'd like you to have done….

· Previous experience of recruiting, human resources or talent acquisition analytics within an RPO or in-house environment is desirable

· Understanding of management information and data analysis is essential

· Advanced use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Access

· Experience of setting up and maintaining ETL data processing is essential, as is the ability to query datasets using SQL

· Experience of Data Presentation tools such as Power BI is desirable

· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships at all levels with both internal and external stakeholders

· Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to develop solutions to complex problems

· Demonstrate commitment to teamwork and delivering value to the organisation

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey messages in a clear, concise and constructive manner

· High level of accuracy and attention to detail with the desire to document processes

· Experience of working in an analytical/problem solving role delivering quality reporting to managers and clients

· Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workload and the ability to multitask
