We have worked on Water Authority framework delivery for many years and have recently been awarded a 5 year framework with Yorkshire Water.
The right candidate will have the opportunity to develop the role and their responsibility within the company.

EICA Project Engineer Job Details:

You would be responsible for the Management, Design, Implementation and Commissioning of a range of EICA Projects, including commercial responsibilities.

You should be able to interpret Client Specification documents and Electrical Drawings, conduct Site Surveys of existing installations, plan, forecast and co-ordinate resource with internal departments, design, specify and procure Electrical, Control and Instrumentation equipment. Plus, provide overall Technical Support and Leadership to internal Installation and Commissioning Field Technicians.

Whilst the role and tasks allocated to you would be supported by a Project Manager, at times, you would be required to work under your own supervision and initiative.

We believe the role would suit applicants from an Electrical Projects or Systems Integration background, with specific knowledge of PLC based Control Systems, Instrumentation, Industrial Electrical Power Distribution Systems, who are now looking for the next step up in their career. However, there is scope for additional training and career development with this company, who are always looking for opportunities to expand.

The role will be split between Head Office and various site locations, so it is essential that you hold a valid UK Driving License.

Essential Skills & Experience:

+ To be considered for this role, you should have practical experience of either designing and / or commissioning MCC's / ICA Sections / Control Panels.
+ Knowledge of PLC based Control Systems
+ Able to understand, design and modify Electrical Schematics & Loop Diagrams.
+ Experience of either designing, specifying and / or commissioning a range of Level / Pressure / Flow Instrumentation.
+ Able to use a PC with a good working knowledge of MS Office products.
+ Understand the need to conform to H&S Requirements when working on client sites.
+ Able to develop RAMS documents.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to work within a Team Environment or Individually.
+ Understanding of P&ID's
+ Understanding of ATEX / CompEX Certified.
+ Experience of Field Networks.

Musts:

+ Experience in industrial Installation or Experience in working in the water industry
+ CCSNG or equivalent
+ EU Driving License
+ HNC / HND or Higher in Electrical / Control / Instrumentation
+ Proven track record in project engineering of EICA Projects in the water industry

Additional:

+ EUSR (Clean Water Hygiene)
+ C&G Inspection and Testing
+ Ability to use AutoCAD
+ Ability to use Amtech Power Software
