We are a well-established Electrical Contracting & Control Systems business providing Electrical Design and Installation services to a range of industrial sectors including Clean and Waste Water Treatment and Manufacturing Facilities throughout the UK and Ireland.ICA Technician
South Yorkshire based + UK & Ireland Travel £33,000 - £35,000 per year + Benefits
We have worked on Water Authority framework delivery for many years and have recently been awarded a 5 year framework with Yorkshire Water.
The right candidate will have the opportunity to develop the role and their responsibility within the company.
ICA Technician Job Details:
South Yorkshire based, with travel around the UK and Ireland
The role will be ‘customer facing' and will need to promote the company, its systems and services at all times.
The candidate will be expected to:
+ Follow site plans, layouts and containment route drawings
+ Understand Cables Schedules and Design Drawings
+ Understand Panel Wiring Drawings
+ Setup Instrumentation
+ Fault find on electrical control panels
+ Knowledge of PLC Control Panels and associated wiring
+ Oversee panel wirers and apprentices for small projects
+ Site based role with some time in workshop for panel building and testing
+ Liaison with customers
To be considered for this role, the candidate should have practical experience of working on both clean and waste water sites and industrial manufacturing factories and facilities.
The candidate should be able to demonstrate that they have an industrial control panel building and installation background, general electrical knowledge and are able to install Cabling / Containment, work on 3 Phase Machinery and across different AC and DC Voltages.
An understanding of a variety of different products ranging from PLC's, telemetry systems and instrumentation such as pressure, flow, level, turbidity, pH and Ammonia and associated control systems+ A knowledge of MCC's, Pumps, and Instrumentation would be necessary.

Musts:
+ Experience in industrial Installation or Experience in working in the water industry
+ CompEx 1 - 4
+ CCSNG or equivalent
+ EU Driving License

+ EUSR (Clean Water Hygiene)

+ C&G Inspection and Testing
