Then this role might be the one for you.This company are looking for a Desktop Engineer / 2nd Line Support / Service Desk Analyst to work within the Service Operations Team in Bolton. They take a 'shift-left' approach to problem solving, which means they concentrate on solving the actual root cause of the issues rather than just fixing the individual ticket. You will therefore be required to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations where required.

The role is based in Bolton, therefore if you live in a commutable distance of Manchester, Blackburn, Wigan, Warrington, Preston, Liverpool, or surrounding areas - then this could be the one for you!The existing team of technical experts will help you build on your pre-existing knowledge of:

* Windows 7 / Windows 10

* Windows Server OS

* Microsoft Exchange

* Active Directory

* Networking i.e. DNS/DHCP, TCP/IP

* ITILIt would also be beneficial if you've had exposure to:

* Agile scrum methodologyAs you expect, you will be compensated well with a salary of £30,000.
