As an approved recruitment partner of several years to this international banking group we have been asked to assist in the hire of an IT Strategy, Governance and Reporting Manager.

Main purpose of the role:

*Provide a central reporting function for the whole of EMEA IT. Standardise all reporting for EMEA IT for all stakeholders. Coordinate strategies and plans across all EMEA IT functions as well as ensuring ongoing alignment of all EMEA IT roadmaps, coordinating any changes.

*Drive the delivery of governance activities which includes audit finding management, regulatory request management, and maintenance of a governance framework for management, performance and communication, collating inputs including SLAs and KPIs across all EMEA IT functional towers.

*Ensure all reports produced by IT strategy, governance and reporting team are meeting expectations of key stakeholders (i.e. CIO and Deputy CIO)

*Support and deputise head of IT strategy, governance and reporting where necessary

*Support Executive Management and PA function to across Technology

*Manage effective communication, liaison, reporting and provision of management information to the wider Bank and Securities Head Office. Ensure corporate policies, standards and procedures are up-to-date, available to the businesses and adhered to.

Key responsibilities:

For dual hat only:

In this role, you will be responsible for across our clients banking arm and securities business under a dual-hat arrangement. Under this arrangement, you will act and make decisions on behalf of both the bank and the securities business, subject to the same remit and level of authority, and irrespective of the entity which employs you.

*Liaise with EMEA IT functions to formulate a single, consistent and updated view of an EMEA IT strategic plan and service roadmap by coordinating strategies and plans across all EMEA IT functions.

*Ensure strategic alignment across all functions in their current to future roadmap.

*Support creation of an integrated team for EMEA IT, leveraging best practice from teams to deliver a reliable, robust, sustainable and efficient group operating model.

*Maintain relationships with the wider Bank and Securities Head Office to ensure key business drivers and effect on the EMEA IT function are reflective in the strategic and service roadmap.

*Responsible for ensuring high quality deliverables for audit and regulatory/authority related response especially when data is going out to outside of ESO

*Responsible for Techonology for EMEA related audit finding remediation progress tracking and reporting

*Responsible for confirming all audit/regulatory/authority finding/observation item will have sufficient remediation plan with detailed action and including traciable action owner/s for obtaining monthly update

Skills and experience:

Functional / Technical Competencies:

Essential:

*Experienced in producing strategic planning material within a global Financial Institution

*Experienced in designing and writing governance structures for programmes and departments

*Understanding what 'good governance' means and looks like

*Ability to produce management information reporting for different audiences and different levels of seniority

*Proven ability to produce standardised reporting including for senior management, within an IT function

*Very good understanding and knowledge of IT service standards, SLAs and KPIs

*Experienced in using tools to support and automate IT reporting and planning

*Understanding of the banking and securities technology domains

*Experienced in planning methods and tooling, including MS Office suite

*Proven ability to build positive relationships with key stakeholders in IT and other functions

Preferred:

*Working knowledge of Planview or similar toolset

*Experience in simplifying processes and reporting to improve efficiency
