The VAT specialist will join a VAT team to support VAT compliance process for entities in EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the Group's VAT returns and other VAT declarationsWork with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate filing of VAT returns, Intrastats and EU Sales Lists in the relevant countriesReconciliation of VAT accountsProvide support to Team leader for tax authority audits and investigationsInteract with various stakeholders internally and externallyProvide input and support to Team leader for ad-hoc projectsOther miscellaneous duties as required
Requirements:
Strong knowledge and experience with EU VAT mattersAccounting or tax qualified preferred;Big 4 experience is advantageExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with everyoneProactive, self-starter with a can-do attitudeA good eye for detail and an ability to meet deadlines will be essential, and you'll need be comfortable about working as part of a dynamic, fast-paced businessFluency in English; Additional European languages preferredProficient in Excel; SAP experience is an advantage

Pay rate- £20 - £25 p/h (PAYE submittals only)
Length- 3 months but could possibly be extended.
