Spring Technology are working with a market leading provider of infrastructure services, on a new and exciting opportunity to recruit for an experienced Windows 10 Engineer to work within their close knit team in Hatfield or Nottingham.
The Role
The successful candidate will be working on various Windows 10 based projects both internal and external. You will be tasked with understanding Microsoft's windows 10 roadmap and any changes that occur. You will also be working on incident management where you will actively respond to incidents that are escalated to the team.
The Responsibilities
*Understanding and communicating feature changes for windows 10 services
*Acting as point of contact for technical queries and escalations.
*Own and resolve 3rd line incidents
*Design and execute plans for different technical issues. E.G. Failed Deployment or Hardware Issues)
*Take part in preview builds.
*Create and present future release reports to internal stakeholders and external Customers.
*Make informed recommendations to customers and service teams.
*Production of management information when needed.
The Requirements
*Experience within a similar role is vital.
*Windows 10 experience.
*Proven experience of working within a Wintel environment.
*SCCM deployment knowledge.
*Experience within ITIL based service delivery.
*Excellent communication skills as you will be communicating to technical and non technical stakeholders.
*Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
