The Master Data Management Analyst will ensure the Master Data is created, maintained and retired in multiple systems for all business areas and markets globally. The primary ERP system is SAP, encompassing both front and back office solutions. The business deploys other complimentary systems, which also require high quality master data for their effective operation. Client DetailsA leading British technology company in Malmesbury.DescriptionBe a global MDM process specialist and provide guidance and support, both internally and to the MDM service provider. Build and maintain expertise in how master data flows across different business systems and a basic understanding of related core business transactions. Build strong, collaborative partnerships with the firm and MDM service provider partners. Write, maintain and publish global business MDM documentation, including training material as required. Work with the MDM service provider to ensure master data problems and issues are effectively remedied in line with service level agreements. Co-ordinate projects to implement the new and revised MDM processes. Update MDM service provider team members on new and modified processes, providing training where appropriate. Actively participate in operational meetings between with the MDM provider, constructively raising issues and providing specialist advice as required. Participate in design and testing activities for automation and robotisation of MDM processes. Provide a professional, proactive and responsive service to internal customers. Deliver training of new MDM requesters. Provide updates and training, where appropriate, to MDM requesters where new processes are introduced or existing ones changed. Be a champion for the use of standard MDM procedures and robust MDM governance disciplines. Advocate and facilitate wherever possible that both the firm and third party partners adhere to these. Define, measure, analyse data quality metrics. The Master Data Management Analyst will identify opportunities to improve data quality metrics, agree with GMDM management team and implement in partnership with the business. Participate in the design and delivery of business development and improvement projects, where there is an MDM dependency. Identify operational efficiency and governance improvements to processes, procedures and ways of working across the global business Discuss potential improvements with GMDM management team with a view to implementing them and lead improvement activities wherever appropriate. ProfileExperience in a similar MDM or systems role. Proactive approach to developing and enhancing systems and processes. Well-developed problem-solving skills. Ability to think logically.
