Technical Tester - ISTQB - .NET / SQLWe are working in partnership with a leading Consultancy who are looking for a Technical Tester - ISTQB - .NET / SQL to join them for an initial 6 month contract OUTSIDE IR35.  The role is based onsite for a Global Investment company who are regarded as one of finest firms in their field of expertise.Role Description:

'€¢Support the technical system design and software development lifecycle for Project Fusion'€¢Test software solutions as defined in the clients development processes'€¢Provide input to system development and business workflow discussions around the continued development of internal applications'€¢Work closely with developers and business analysts in product-based teams to resolve technical, design and functional issues'€¢Attend internal IT team project and team meetings'€¢When required by the Project Manager, attend user meetings and workshops with the business'€¢Perform functional, regression, integration and system testing for internally developed application/solution'€¢Monitor and resolve defects'€¢Create test cases and document and communicate test results including evidencing'€¢Input into testing process documentation

Experience / Knowledge Qualifications and Skills:Requirements:

'€¢Multiyear relevant experience in application testing'€¢Basic database and application development knowledge (MS SQL, .NET)'€¢Solid SQL knowledge and technical understanding'€¢ISTQB certified or adequate qualification'€¢Ideal initial experience in test automation'€¢Good problem solving, logical, and communication aptitudes.'€¢Good understanding of finance or the asset management industry is a plus
