Data Developer / Engineer (SQL Python RESTful API GCP Big Data). Would you like to work on complex and interesting systems using the latest technology within a modern cloud based environment whilst enjoying perks such as flexible working, training and an amazing office environment?
As a Data Developer at this global games software house you will collaborate with software developers, architects and Machine Learning engineers in an Agile environment; you'll be building CI/CD pipelines (they're using Kafka), integrating 3rd party data platforms, building batch and streaming data pipelines for the Google Cloud data platform and enterprise Data Warehouse, as well as building a variety of services to drive intelligence into internal and external products and platforms as they embark on a migration from on-premise to Cloud based systems. You'll be working on huge datasets using the latest technologies.
Requirements:
Strong SQL, T-SQL skills / experience
Experience of data processing using Python (or Java)
Good understanding of RESTful APIs and / or data streaming
Familiar with Agile working practices
Keen to learn and continually develop skillset through supported training and pro-active self-learning
Innovative - keen to collaborate and express ideas to make improvements
Ideally you will have some commercial experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
As a Data Developer you will earn a competitive salary (to £75k) plus bonus and benefits package.
