Senior C++ Software Engineer / Technical Lead (C/C++ STL Boost Python). Global Investment Research and Management firm is seeking a highly skilled, senior hands-on C++ Developer to take a lead role within the Real-time Data Technology Team that delivers data for millions of instruments traded in markets worldwide.
As a Senior C++ Software Engineer / Technical Lead you will design and develop high volume, low latency, real-time market data feeds; managing projects through the full development lifecycle including working with QA. As a senior member of the team you will also be responsible for developing key libraries used by the team and for mentoring / leading more junior team members.
Technical ability is prized over business knowledge making this an excellent opportunity as a senior developer to gain valuable knowledge of financial trading systems. You'll be based in the City and can enjoy a good work / life balance with flexible working.
Requirements:
Strong C++ development skills including STL and Boost
Strong real-time and multi-threading development skills
Some technical leadership / mentoring experience
Excellent communications skills
Degree educated, 2.1 or above
Desirable: Python, Java,
