The CompanyI am recruiting for an IT Helpdesk Engineer / 1st Line Support Engineer for my client based in Cardiff. This role is working with a well-established MSP who have a good reputation with local clients. This role is paying around £18,000 - £22,000 per annum and comes with onsite parking & generous holiday allowance.The RoleYou will work with a friendly, small service desk team and provide excellent customer service to a range of local clients. You will be good at building strong relationships, whilst answering queries via telephone, email and online helpdesk. You will perform diagnosis and escalate problems when needed. You will log and updated all calls and manage a ticketing system.Essential SkillsIdeally you will have good working knowledge around supporting Microsoft Windows 7,8 and desktop applications. Ideally you will have some exposure to networking, active directory, and group policy and domain management. If you have experience supporting VOIP platforms this is a bonus!
