Security Engineer - Hatfield/Central London
Spring Technology are working on a new and exciting opportunity within one of Europe's leading providers of IT Infrastructure services. We are looking to recruit an Information Security Engineer to join an already successful and thriving Infosec team. This role can be based in either Central London, or Hatfield, with occasional travel between.
The Role
The successful candidate will be working on security incident management, investigation, co-ordination and remediation. You will also be involved with change management by reviewing and assessing business change and privilege access. As well as reviewing and analysing security logs and data. This is a role where you will take on a task from start to a successful finish.
The Responsibilities
* Implementation and maintenance of the information security management system.
* Ensure that policies and procedures used support the effectiveness of the information security management system.
* Supporting the verification of ISO27001 and other security certifications.
* Risk management and carrying out risk assessments.
* Assistance with internal and external audits.
The Requirements
* Experience within a similar role is vital.
* Ability to be security cleared or already SC cleared.
* Experience with vulnerability and incident management.
* Experience in SIEM.
* CISMP or CISM would be an advantage.
* Excellent communication skills - This role requires communication with high level internal and external stakeholders.
