Required skill set:

Technical skill set:Working knowledge of:IP based communications & mobile networksLinux based system developmentProven experience managing software product development using agile methods.Proven ability to pro-actively drive technical definition and innovationManagerial skill set:R&D Project Management of real-time distributed monitoring software development, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery to agreed requirementsActive role in hiring new talent as well as managing and mentoring existing engineers.People management of R&D engineers (from graduate to expert level) Setting and management of objectives & metricsRewards & talent managementActive participation in capacity managementWork with the business development team to help generate technical proposals and estimates to drive business pursuitParticipate in business team meetings, strategy discussions etc. as appropriate.PLEASE NOTE: You must have the unrestricted right to live and work in the UK.
