Are you looking to work in a fast moving, dynamic and evolving business based in Exeter? Due to another exceptional year, they are looking for an ambitious, highly motivated Project Manager.

Located on prestigious Exeter Science Park, in the heart of Devon, this company is a fast growing and highly successful proprietary software business. Established in 2003 they provide IT SaaS solutions primarily to Motor Retailers and Manufactures in the UK, European and Global markets.

Working on a variety of projects using different technologies and working in an agile Scrum environment, the successful candidate will be an excellent team player with good communication skills, strong attention to detail, and strongly self-motivated.

Scope of Role:

- Manage the day-to-day activities of one or more software delivery teams to ensure projects remain on schedule and on budget, using an agile (scrum) delivery lifecycle

- Use good judgment and skill to develop a project management approach that is suitable for planning and managing the effort

- Create, maintain and track project plans and schedules, cost estimates and risk/problem logs throughout the life of the project and provide status reports to clients and management

- Offer leadership, guidance and motivation to the development team, while resolving internal conflicts, as well as having a laser focus on removing impediments to keep the team moving forward

- Actively contribute towards the departments focus on continual improvement and coach the team through daily interaction and effective retrospectives to drive meaningful change.

Skills & Experience:

- 3+ years working as a project manager, using Scrum and Kanban across multiple development teams

- A proven track record of successfully implementing software projects using Agile methodologies

- Strong knowledge of business workflow tools (preferably JIRA)

- Project planning experience, from inception and mobilisation, through to delivery and close

- Ability to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues

- Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the "big picture" view

- Full understanding of the principles of I.N.V.E.S.T and their practical application.

- Ensuring the delivery of quality products, within agreed time and budget

- Compiling and presenting timely project progress reports

- Acting as scrum master for one or more delivery teams

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Project or similar.
