Business Analyst
Manchester City Centre
£40000 - £45000 per annum
Our client, a respected multinational law firm, are searching for a dynamic business analyst to join our international business and utilise their analytical expertise to support our business.
You will be accountable for the delivery of a variety of projects to support the Transformation Programmes and supplementary improvement activities. Working across all areas of the firm, with occasional support to external clients, the Business Analyst will analyse problems and opportunities by investigating and assembling factual evidence of current operations and will assist in supporting the definition of target operating models.
As required by the specific needs of a project, the Business Analyst will use recognised and proven methodologies in order to analyse data and business processes; additionally creating documentation and plans that are compliant with the project management methodology.
What are we looking for?
*Sound working knowledge of improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma, BPR, BPM and BA certifications).
*Experience of supporting medium/large projects within professional services.
*Be familiar with current and forward thinking tools and methods in industry, that could be considered as part of the working solutions proposed
*Aware of the political landscape and can adequately navigate to be effective in the role, managing potentially competing/dependant interests to steer recommendations to a mature conclusion.
*A lateral thinker in working through legacy processes, confident to question and interrogate where appropriate, to establish facts.
*Ability to work with people within the business and engender good quality relationships in order to extract relevant information.
*An competent communicator and able to present the findings from analysis and describe recommendations and solutions to a multitude of audiences.
*Passionate about exceeding customer expectations and improving service levels.
