Salary up to £95,000 + Bonus + Benefits Lead Java Developer - Reporting directly to the CTO, our market leading Manchester based FinTech are looking for a hands-on Lead Java Developer to take control of the development operation, in a 100% Hands-on Development capacity. You will build high performance Java microservices for user friendly mobile and web applications helping process millions of pounds worth of loans daily.The Lead Java Developer will be:Using Java 8-11, containerising microservices architecture within Docker and Kubernetes.Involved in large-scale cloud deployment through AWS.Practising highly tested clean code procedures using TDD/BDD and continuous integration.Leading a brand new dedicated Java development team. You will be given complete project autonomy leading the Java development team to deliver production grade machine learning at scale. You'll have the opportunity to mentor and train junior members of the organisation whilst leading by example with solid working practice and quality code.As a Lead Java Developer, you will join a start-up leadership team motivated by their own personal improvement.
