They have a passion for service delivery which sets them apart in their field.The Role:They are looking for a Management Information Analyst to assume overall responsibility for the collation, integrity and analysis of their data, producing reports and generating insights to help their Management Team manage the business effectively, better understand their customers' businesses, identify opportunities, drive performance and develop future strategies. This newly created role will be critical in supporting stakeholders to make sound business decisions, to inform both commercial and customer outcomes and identify strategic objectives.Key Responsibilities:Engage with internal stakeholders to understand business requirementsBuild and deliver robust MI reporting to provide oversight to key stakeholders to support trading and business decisions, including to enable the identification of key trends, spotting trading anomalies and working with the stakeholders to take action to support performanceMaintain a regular reporting schedule alongside ad hoc MI requestsPrioritising tasks and managing expectations where requiredUsing Excel to manipulate data from various data sources, updating existing reports and developing new or ad hoc reports upon requestUnderstand the business requirements and provide accurate and appropriate MI reportsWorking under own initiative but as part of a team, taking responsibility for delivering MI & Analysis through accurate and timely data management and reportingReview processes, suggest and implement improvements and solutionsMaintain the integrity of MI produced with detailed review and data cleansing to ensure all data and reports are accurate, current and consistentWhere required support Senior Managers with communication of the results of your data analysisBuild reporting solutions using the most appropriate technology availableAd hoc duties as required Key Requirements:Exceptional user of Excel (VLOOKUPs, SUMIF, Pivot tables, Index Match)Proven attention to detail particularly with numerical outputOutstanding reporting and analytical skillsExperience in handling competing prioritiesExperience in tackling problems confidently and presenting solutionsAbility to work under moderate pressureA passion for data quality and Management InformationCreative problem solving, analytical and strategic skill setA positive attitude and a proactive approach to solving problemsConscientious, hard working as well as flexible and adaptableExperience within insurance claims services would be desirable, but not essentialVisual Basic for Applications & SQL desirable but not essentialThe Company operates as an equal opportunities employer and they welcome all applications regardless of gender, marital status, sexual orientation, pregnancy, race, colour, ethnic origin, nationality, religion or beliefs, age, politic opinions or trade union membership.They use a third party to undertake a number of checks.
