My client, a start-up operating in Edinburgh, is looking for a Software Engineer to join the team. The company is undergoing R&D and has exciting plans for the year ahead. The client is looking for someone who is passionate about using technology to improve people's lives and wants to make a difference with their technical abilities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the company's mission and would want to work alongside the team to help the business grow. Please bear in mind that the office is located in Edinburgh but there might be the need to travel to the rest of the offices as the business has operations across Asia as well. You will work closely with the CTO and the Lead Software Engineer on product development and code functionality. In terms of responsibilities you will:Work closely with the rest of the team to integrate Machine Learning applicationsQuality testingBe involved in all aspects of the development lifecycle - as it's a start-up they will expect you to be proactive and get involved in all the stages of product developmentSkillset: At least 2 years as a Software Developer/EngineerExperience with programming languages such as Ruby, Java or similarKnowledge of Python and SQl/NoSQLHTML and CSS In return, the company offers great career progression opportunities, exposure to new and exciting technologies and equity package on top of the salary.
