About the job
As an Infrastructure Consultant, you build modern and powerful applications, guiding your clients on the architecture and implementation of sophisticated software applications. You create the processes, procedures and tools that transform businesses, working with our technology and design teams to create fully integrated technology, operations, strategies and solutions.
Day to day, you will:
Take part in all project phases - Plan, Analyse, Design, Build and Test
Partner with the technology and design teams to turn strategies into solutions
Create and adapt Infrastructure solutions
Define projects' documentation, including design, build and operations guides, as well as the management processes, procedures and toolsets
Carry out integration and user testing
Support your clients to transform their technology landscapes
Work with global and offshore teams
Travel as required.
About you
You are a skilled communicator, with good written and spoken English, who can convey sometimes complex information to technical and non-technical partners. You collaborate with your colleagues locally and globally to make full use of their knowledge and experience to develop effective strategies and solutions. You've got good understanding of business, too, and you understand the finances of a project.
You are likely to have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, Information Technology or similar. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be suitable. You also have experience in systems engineering and/or infrastructure.
Your skills and experience include:
Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business Online and Office 365
Enterprise Voice implementation experience, as either the primary Telephony platform or integration with existing PBX infrastructure
Development of Unified Communication strategy to address the business requirements and associated delivery roadmaps encompassing all key dependencies
VoIP and Telephony infrastructure design and/or implementation experience
Edge Services implementation for external or mobile client access and Federation
Other desirable UC related experiences/technologies: Lync Server 2010 / 2013, Unified Messaging e.g. Exchange Server; Collaboration Services e.g. SharePoint; SIP telephony; Cisco Call Manager; Network configuration

As is the nature of working within a global professional services environment, your clients and projects will change over time so the flexibility to travel is a pre-requisite. All our roles are project based so typically will involve working on client site throughout the Ireland. You can expect up to 80% travel as well as periods working on a dedicated client site.
