Do you have SAP and Configuration Experience? Bored of working in a one-dimensional/overly transactional role? And want to take the next step up? Do you want the chance to problem solve and find solutions (matching a business' unique needs), rather than focusing on only one small area of a process? Maybe you have already had some professional experience in an IT support role and would love the chance to work in a more interesting and challenging way (in an organisation where we will help you build on your existing skills)? Or perhaps you are bored of the commute into London and/or the nomadic life of a consultant and would like a role located close to where you live so you enjoy a better work life balance AND be home in time for school pick up or evening study group if needed. More about you Whether you are a seasoned SAP consultant looking for more stability, or a more junior professional eager to progress in your career, this may be the right role for you. We are flexible on the journey you have taken so far in your IT and SAP career and would like to hear from people who have taken a variety of routes. At Cambridge Assessment, as a SAP MM Consultant, we will give you on the job training so don't worry if you are not a SAP expert yet. We can help you learn many of the skills you will need as your career develops. Naturally you will have experience in SAP configuration, but if you are not feeling challenged enough in your current role and you want to flex your SAP muscles, learning new skills as you go, then we would welcome your application. We are more interested in your softer skills: your ability to work as a team, your desire to problem solve, your stakeholder management experience and your initiative and thirst to develop your career and knowledge. You'll also be an enabling and open-minded colleague who has experience of mentoring others. We see this role supporting and taking an active interest in developing and helping more junior team members.  This may be something you have always done naturally even if it wasn't an official part of your job. You already have substantial configuration and customisation experience. Ideally this would be in Materials Management.  Maybe you gained this in a project or a support background (or perhaps a combination of both). You already understand or have experience of how MM integrates with other modules and wider SAP features and have familiarity with interfaces to non-SAP systems. In a nutshell: You thrive on problem solving and coming up with solutions and enjoy the process of using your digital skills to solve interesting and complex business issues.  What you will be doing? At Cambridge Assessment everything we do is linked back to our learners and providing the best outcomes for them and the work you do will be part of this contribution to our global vision You will be working across Materials Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Student Life Cycle Management, as well as some liaison with Sales and Distribution and Project Systems. You will be given lots of autonomy, and plenty of support as you develop your skills and you'll be given time to grow into your role. You will have exposure to full life cycles and breadth of the solutions and will be exposed to other modules - there will be lots of variety so no time to be bored. You'll be working on a range of projects, as well as helping the offshore teams with incident resolution and you'll test and deliver solutions and find happy conclusions to tricky issues.  The team you will be joining (and our office) We are small and supportive team of 7 and whilst it is all hands-on deck, we find time for fun (and team socials), based at our HQ in Cambridge (10 minutes from Cambridge Station) in the Triangle. We offer a wellbeing centre, dance and yoga classes, generous pension, heavily subsidised onsite restaurant (with vegan, healthy options too (a salad bar), and a pizza oven for those cheat/comfort food days). Flexible working At Cambridge Assessment, we are encouraging flexible working including job shares, compressed days, flexible hours, and some working from home options. General info Please note that we will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis and some interviews may occur before the closing date NO AGENCIES PLEASE  We know that diversity of thinking, backgrounds and approaches lead to innovation and create an atmosphere where everyone's contribution is valued. As well as wanting to create diverse teams, we also value diversity in the way our people approach their work. Work/life balance is important to us at Cambridge Assessment and we offer our colleagues a range of flexible working options according to the needs of the business and the individual, so please let us know of any flexible working requirements when applying and we can see how we can support you.

The closing date for receipt of applications is 1 March and interviews will be held week commencing 2 March. If you're successful at interview stage we will ask you to undergo background screening (carried out by Credence Background Screening Ltd), to ensure that all information provided to us is accurate. We wish you all the very best with your application. CAMBRIDGE ASSESSMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES EMPLOYER
