IT Security Analyst

Central London - 6 Month Contract

£475pd (inside IR35)

As a preferred and trusted recruitment partner to this international banking group for over eight years, we have been asked to assist in the hire of a well-established Senior IT Security Analyst to act as a true SME in terms of IT Security Operations (from vulnerability management to security monitoring and security alert/incident response activities).

We are looking for an individual with cybersecurity architecture experience and hands-on experience with configuring cybersecurity products. In addition, hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting of web proxies, email gateways, PAM solutions, IAM solutions and MFA solutions is needed. Candidates must have experience performing security reviews and providing security recommendations.

Whilst this is an initial six-month contract, it is very common for contractors to remain on site for 12-36 months, therefore it is very likely this contract will extend well beyond the initial six months. We receive extremely good feedback from the many individuals onsite here. This role is inside IR35.

Skills & Experience Required

-Cybersecurity Architecture and Configuring Cybersecurity Products

-Web Proxies, Email Gateways, PAM solutions, IAM solutions and MFA solutions

-Involved in Security Reviews and Providing Security Recommends

-Qualys Vulnerability Scanning

-Qualys Policy Compliance Scanning

-Security Operations (Vulnerability Management, Security Monitoring, Alert/Incident Response)

-Experience of Cyber Security Frameworks (FFIEC, COBIT, NIST, etc.)

-Experience of Cybersecurity Review Process

-Ideally Splunk Usage for detection/investigation of misuse or incidents

-Ideally CISSP (or equivalent) Qualified
