Due to ongoing expansion, they are now seeking an IT Systems Engineer to join their team.As an IT Systems Engineer, you will:- Provide 2nd line support to internal and customer-facing IT infrastructure
- Architect, implement and support technological solutions
- Deliver customer hardware projects and upgrades
- Integrate Cisco networks
- Manage infrastructure security and cybersecurity solutions
- Visit clients on site to provide direct support
- Offer 2nd line desktop support for the internal user base
- Manage and administer all software, systems and solutionsTo be considered as an IT Systems Engineer, you will need:- Red-hat (or other distros) Linux experience
- Good knowledge of Cisco iOS CLI and Cisco hardware platforms
- Knowledge of core networking technologies and protocols
- To be certified or working towards becoming CCNP Routing and Switching qualifiedA full, valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle would be beneficial, but not essential.Other organisations may call this role CCNP Qualified Engineer, Routing and Switching Engineer, IT Support Engineer, 2nd Line Support Engineer, IT Support Analyst, Infrastructure Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, Hardware Support Engineer, or Network Support Engineer.Your Benefits- Competitive salary
