About the role

Our IT team is seen as a critical function within Anchor Hanover, we are providing an opportunity to get involved in the transformation of our newly formed organisation.  Anchor Hanover is embarking on its Digital Business strategy - our roles allow individuals to get involved in both the technology and cultural change that will need to be achieved to deliver this strategy.

This role is an Unit4 (Agresso) application product specialist working within our IT Finance & Procurement Team with a remit to ensure that Anchor Hanover is fully aware and able to exploit the value of the application.

This will be achieved through lobbying and influencing development roadmaps of 3rd party providers based on Anchor's business need. You will provide expert understanding of Agresso and steering/influencing senior business colleagues in the implementation and deployment of Unit4 to maximise business value.

You will be working in collaboration with senior business colleagues, ensure that Unit4 is developed and deployed in alignment with the business strategy.

You will have a good understanding of the business strategy and external market place, liaising with both business colleagues and 3rd party software suppliers to translate this knowledge to provide input and direction into the future product development. You will provide advice/steer on system upgrades to ensure that the full capability is evaluated and deployed to maximize business benefits.

You will support business colleagues in the development of business cases where potential exists to further exploit the application and provide advice/steer on how to fully exploit product capability during the implementation of new/enhanced systems to deliver the maximum business value.

About you

You will have comprehensive knowledge and experience of developing, building and implementing new modules within Agresso, being skilled in Excelerator and having expertise in SQL. You will also be experienced in developing and analysing the financial systems.

You will be experienced in the full development life cycle, understand the principles of project management and you may have a Prince 2 Foundation qualification (or other project management qualification) and/or ITIL v3 trained. You will be educated to degree level and you will be a proficient user of Microsoft Office applications.

You will be able to develop relationships with a variety of stakeholders that enables challenge and effects influence and you will be able to show genuine enthusiasm for providing a high standard of customer service. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to successfully engage with non-technical colleagues.

You will have well-developed analytical skills in combination with ability to judgment and analysis to problem solving and be able to consider a range of innovative solutions. You will be able to recognise the important facts and fully evaluate before reaching a decision and you will have the ability to work within a pressured environment, handling multiple competing priorities, whilst maintaining personal calm and composure and professionalism.
