Reed have partnered up with a large public sector organisation in the East Midlands who are recruiting for a 1st Line Service Desk Analyst.The successful candidate will be joining a fast paced service desk function rota, supporting internal staff during core support hours.This is the perfect opportunity to kick start your career within IT Technical Support, with opportunities to work with a range of software and hardware. Within this role you'll be working directly with the Service Delivery Manager where you'll have the opportunity to identify service improvements and your own ideas.Key Responsibilities:Provide first line technical support to ensure all incidents are resolved within SLAIdentify and solve common first line level hardware faults/problemsEscalate faults to second and third level support, or third party suppliers as requiredAssist in the management and maintenance of ITSM toolsCreate reports on incidents and requestsExperience required:At least one year experience in an Helpdesk/IT Support roleKnowledge of ITIL ProcessesKnowledge of Microsoft Operating systems and applicationsExperienced in Basic network administration (DHCP, DNS)Experience in diagnosing and resolving hardware/software problemsBenefits:27 Days Annual Leave (plus bank holidays)Childcare Voucher SchemeHealth & Wellbeing benefits Learning & Development opportunities If you're interested in this opportunity then please apply now using your latest CV or email me at
