Introduction

NATO Communications and Information Agency

The Agency was established on 1 July 2012 as part of a NATO reform, but its predecessors have been supporting Allied operations long before. Today, NATO is in the midst of a fundamental transformation in the way it performs its mission by more effectively exploiting information technology and reforming its business processes.

We acquire, deploy and defend communications systems for NATO's political decision-makers and Commands; we are on the frontlines against cyber-attacks, working closely with governments and industry to prevent future debilitating attacks

LA International has been appointed as a Prime supplier to the NCI Agency through the Advisory and Assistance Services Framework (A&AS), a contract that enables them to call off Project / Programme Management, Administration & HR, Commercial, ICT, Scientific, Engineering, and Military functional expertise in order to support essential NATO operations.

Job Title:Cryptographic Project Coordinator

Location:SHAPE HQ, Belgium

End Date:6 months after start date

Requirement Description

Duties/ Role:

*Manages and updates Cryptographic Modernisation

*Provide assistance in planning and implementing Alliance-wide operational contingencies as a result of delays in the delivery of Crypto Modernisation projects

*Drafting risk assessments and risk management plans for all Alliance-wide cryptographic issues

*Providing assistance in dealing with Maritime Cryptographic issues, including training, CONOPS, key management.

*Provide support to ACO on various Crypto Modernisation related activities, as directed by the BH J6 Cyber SPP

Skills and Experience

*Background knowledge and multiyear experience in organization, management and support of various (international) operations, activities, units and projects related to defense, security, electronics and communications, in the national and NATO environments.

*Master Degrees in Electronic Engineering

*International experience and NATO

*Previous experience within NATO dealing with Crypto implementation and standards

*Deep knowledge of Maritime Cryptographic issues, including training, CONOPS, key management

*Experience with Risks Management as applied to Cryptographic and Cyber Security Fields

*Experience in leading staff work on large and complex projects or responsible for significant
