As a trusted PSL partner for tech hiring for over a decade to this keystone member of London's banking fraternity we have been asked to assist in hire of an individual to have responsibility for both the development and support of infrastructure and associated component services across a wide tech stack and an infrastructure of over 60 servers. The job holder needs a deep technical experience of supporting Linux server environments within high availability, critical environments:

Redhat Linux

Tomcat

OpenAM OAuth/OIDC security concepts (ForgeRock preferable)

Amazon / AWS Cloud technologies

Redhat enterprise LDAP directory

SFTP

API concepts

F5 load balancers

Source control

packaging and release

GIT

Bamboo

Terraform

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain key software and hardware components of all online services

System improvement initiatives and upgrades as well as business-led projects for new services across Portal and Member Reporting services

Design new solutions within the Online Services & Reporting remit to help support and extend the firms business requirement

Hands-on approach to build and release

Liaise with various internal technical teams (networks, Unix, middleware etc)

Liaise with offshore App Support teams and provide 3rd-level/SME support, including incident escalation

Provide backup support for weekend and out of hours deployments and changes where necessary

Build / provide tools to ensure there is effective, pro-active monitoring and management in place for systems including capacity

Involvement in Infrastructure upgrade work
