DevOps Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (CI/CD C++ Automation SRE). Are you a senior technologist looking for a new challenge? You could be joining a global financial software house, taking ownership and enjoying a range of perks.

As a DevOps Engineer / SRE you will support the release of new services via capacity planning, rollout planning and release management, acting as a SME to Application Architects and collaborating with application developers to define and implement monitoring strategies, define SLAs and error budgets as well as creating build and deploy automation tooling for supported services. You will define and run incident management for the application teams, troubleshoot and remediate any issues with the services you manage, taking ownership and driving efficiency.

You will be working in a professional yet informal atmosphere in impressive, City based offices with breakout areas and a range of onsite facilities; you'll get to visit your US colleagues around twice a year with an initial two week period to get up to speed.

 

Requirements:

Experience as an DevOps or SRE running critical services

Comfortable with C++ code, able to understand and make adjustments to code; Python would also be great

Good knowledge of CI/CD

Good written and verbal communication skills; able to produce clear technical documentation and liaise with internal stakeholders across the business

Degree educated: Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics

Nice to have: any Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Joyent, OpenStack)
