Risk Manager - IS & IT / Location - Staffordshire / Permanent / £NEG

We are currently looking for Risk Manager for a financial services client in Staffordshire. The successful candidate will have to demonstrate knowledge and experience of overseeing all information security and managing ICT risk and Operational Resilience.

Responsibilities

*Enhancing and embedding the organisations Information and Technology Policy across all business units, maintaining elements of the risk management framework and providing input to policies and procedures.

*Maintain a detailed understanding of all IS, IT and Operational Resilience risk related regulation in order to provide and support.

*Develop and execute a second line oversight plan for assessing the effectiveness of first line risk management of IS, IT and Operational Resilience.

*Assist in the development of the annual Risk and Compliance Monitoring Plan.

*Continually assess the organisations awareness of IS, IT and Operational Resilience related risks

*Facilitate periodic training and risk workshops on risk-based issues for staff in other business areas.

Required Skills & Experience

*Good understanding of IT risk and operational resilience principles.

*Experience in the development and maintenance of information security frameworks and standards.

*Previous experience within a Second or First Line Oversight role

*CISSP qualification or similar.

*Knowledge and experience of ISO 27001/2.

*Knowledge of information security and operational resilience regulatory requirements
