IT Product Owner

One of our Software House clients is seeking an IT Product Owner to join their growing team based in Leicester. You will be responsible for the management of software (SaaS) projects from inception, through to the design and development to production release. This role will focus on tactical activities to ensure success and profitability of the product portfolio.

You will predominantly responsible for developing and managing a reporting software product, however you may be required to pick up additional products dependant upon business needs.

IT Product Owner duties will include, but not limited to:

*Look after new products/product enhancements through the development cycle

*Define and document business and functional requirements

*Working with Product Managers and Head of Product to understand the product vision and roadmap

*Refining the backlog with the scrum teams to convert the problems on the backlog into user stories

*Working with the design team to create UI's

*Seeking early feedback to validate the direction and quality of the product development

*Present release plans for product

*Communicating with the Product Manager and stakeholders in relation to the progress of the development on your product(s)

*Working within marketing and L&D functions to ensure all relevant collateral and documentation is available

*Participation in Scrum rituals

*Develop business cases for each new product/product enhancement, demonstrating the viability of the product/capability (target pricing and margin, SWOT analysis, implementation and support costs etc.)

*Demonstrate new features and improvements to stakeholders and/or other departments

As the IT Product Owner you will be required to posses:

*2+ years experience within a Product Owner/Product Manager position

*Experience of CRM/ERP or other business software's

*Previous experience working within an Agile development structure

*Experience producing mock-ups/wireframes to support the use stories and acceptance criteria

*Excellent communication skills
