Our client is based in Moorgate within the heart of London, and is a global figure within the financial sector.You will coming in as a Senior Developer, whose role is to design, develop, test, deploy and support mission a critical application, using the latest tech stack, and taking charge on application development. DescriptionTechnical Competence Extensive knowledge of application development tools, techniques and languages including (but not exclusive to) C#, JavaScript, Python, ExtJS, React, Jupyter, IIS, SQL Server, T-SQL, PostgreSQL, HTML5, ASP.NET, Bootstrap, JQuery, CSS, Team Foundation Server, GITHub.Skills in Microsoft MVC and Entity Framework.Knowledge of containerisation and cloud platforms would be advantageous. ProfileThe Successful Candidate will have:Proven prioritisation and problem solving skills.Good communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels.Exposure to a variety of project delivery methodologies such as waterfall and Agile is desirable.Experience of continuous integration, test driven design and automated testing would be advantageous.The ability to inspire and influence while managing change throughout the business.A wide range of high-level technical IT knowledge.Previous use of JIRA and Confluence is essential.Familiarity with financial markets, investment management, fixed income securities and credit research would be advantageous.Familiarity with ETL tools with the potential to guide the adoption of Kafka or other such data streaming technologies would be advantageous.Job OfferOur client is offering a competitive salary of £65k+
